Cameron Day (L) 2010 OF Landtown HS had a very good day posting a 6.87 sixty time and 83mph velocity in the outfield. Cameron has a very good bp session spraying the ball to all fields and showing college level power, he also posted a 91mph radar tee reading. Very athletic, Cameron continues to lower his sixty time and has legit center field speed and range. |
| Sam Scherzer, (9) RHP 2010-Powhatan HS, Sam showed very good command with all his pitches in the game. Striking out 5 out of 6 batter he faced and flashed 84mph fb and 71 mph cb. This is the first time we have seen Sam and he should be on the radar screen for many school. Easy delivery with solid frame to build on , look for a velocity jump soon. |

Tyler Reed (R) 2010 OF Matoaca HS is very athletic and shows strength in all areas of game. Tyler posted a 6.82 sixty time and showed very good 82mph arm strength from the outfield. In bp Tyler showed good bat speed and more power to come from his lower half. Barrell's the ball well now with very little help from his lower half. He also took a trip to the mound and showed solid command of a 82mph fb, 67mph cb, and 73mph change. Athletic and not afraid to go anywhere on the field. |
| Tyon Ore, (7) 2010 OF Maury HS showed of his arm strength several times form centerfield in the game. He posted a very strong 84mph velocity reading on his workout throws from RF with very good carry and accuracy. A RH hitter with strong hands and excellent bat speed, Tyon had a very good bp session and posted a 85mph reading on the radar tee. Gets very good reads in CF and covers gap to gap. Lead off type guy who can steal bags. Big upside. |

Gunnar Carroll (25) 2010 RHP Louisa HS, showed the best on the mound with 87mph fb and some nice sink. His cb is tight and darting with 71mph velocity, He also uses a slider at 78mph with nice riding action to lh batters. Gunnar adds a 4th pitch with a 78mph change up to compliment the slider. He can work the ball to both sides of the plate and throw any pitch in any count. Very loose , quick arm action, look for a velo jump into the 90's soon. |
| Raphael Sanchez (L) 2010 Robert E Lee HS, is a two play player who can swing it. At the plate this RH hitter shows very good bat speed and power to all fields. Short, compact swing with leverage at contact, Raphael can drive the ball to any part of the park. Behind the plate he posted a 1.97 pop time and 73mph velocity. He has soft hands and is a good receiver. In the infield second base may be his spot but he did show enough range and arm strength to slide in some at SS. Posted 76mph velocity in infield workout. Athletic and quick, he posted a 6.93 sixty time. Alot of things going well here. |

Logan Hennessy (6) 2010 C Great Bridge HS, showed very good tools behind the dish. Soft hands and good blocking ability with 2.08 pop time and 74mph velocity. Look for his pop times to continue to drop. Solid, athletic frame and look very durable for his position, built for a 56 game schedule. At the plate he showed good balance and very nice pull power. Good bat speed and went with the pitch in the game. Posted a 84mph radar tee. Developing with good upside. |
| Peter Culver (12) 2B Louis County HS , Good runner who can swing it. A second baseman with 78mph arm strength during workout. Showed very soft hands and excellent footwork on double plays on the second base side. Can swing the bat with 87 radar tee reading and good bat speed in bp session. Good swings in game. A 6.86 sixty speed, he will steal bags. Athletic frame, he should only get stronger and quicker. |

Cameron Cecil (8) 2010 C Gloucester HS, showed very good tools behind the plate. Posted 1.97 pop time with 76mph velocity, good arm strength and transfer time show improve to lower pop time even more. Catchers frame with good glove action. At the plate he is a rh hitter with big time tools. Cameron can square up on the ball in any part of the zone. College level hand strength and bat speed with college level power. A hitting catcher with good arm strength. 92mph radar tee reading. Big upside and you will hear more from him, should be on every college radar screen. |
| Blake Leebrick (L) 2010 C Kellam HS, showed very well behind the dish with 2.06 pop time and 76mph velocity. Frames well and does a very good job blocking. Showed 83mph radar tee velocity and had a very solid bp session showing good bat speed and balance in his approach. Posted a 7.54 sixty time. |

Joe Lynch (13) 2011 OF Robert E Lee HS, impact speed is his current tool with a 6.81 sixty time, that will only imnprove. Joe showed 75mph velocity from the OF and good actions to the ball. HIs bat is developing and will really add to his game as he matures. He had 79mph radar tee velocity and showed a short stroke in bp. Look for more power to come from better use of lower half. Very athletic and should learn quickly. |
| Gary LeClair (1) 2011 INF/RHP The Steward School, one of the brightest spots of the event, posted a 6.69 sixty time, with imapct type speed he has very good rang in the infield. Showed 81mph arm strength in workout. At the plate Gary showed excellent bat speed and balance with advanced hitting tools. Good leverage and approaching ave college power. 85mph radar tee reading tell us more power to come. On the mound, Gary was a real surprise showing 84mph fb and 72mph cb from a secondary position. Athletic and developing. |

Michael Rienerth (14) 2011 3B/RHP First Colonial HS, had a very good day on the mound and in the field. Michael showed 83mph fb with good command, 68mph cb with good spin off the mound. He has a very easy arm action and clean mechanics which should mean a velo jump soon. In the infield workout he showed 78mph velocity and very good range to his glove side. In the sixty time he posted a 7.08 time. Athletic and lean with room to add strength, big upside. |
